SneakersBR And Nike Team Up To Create Five Very Brazilian Sneakers

For their second collaboration, SneakersBR, the online source for sneaker news in the country, and Nike Sportswear, have developed five Dunk Low sneakers, each representing a different region of Brazil, and have invited graffiti artist Vinícius Popó not only to customize the insole of the sneakers, but to also go on a road trip to spread the sneaker culture in different parts of the country and record it on video. The result of the trip will be the Spreading Sneaker Culture Throughout Brazil project, a series of web videos in which personalities from nine capitals of the five regions of the country will introduce their cities, starting September 8 at SneakersBR.

As for the sneakers, the collection has a special limited edition of 12 pairs for each region’s version that will unfortunately be distributed exclusively among the personalities recorded for the project’s videos, and not sold at stores.

In case you are wondering, the first collaboration between SneakersBR and Nike resulted in the Nike Air Max 1 Lanceiro last year.

Time To Shine

Stylist Paulo Martinez, makeup artist Marcos Costa, and photographer Rogério Cavalcanti, teamed up with the brilliant designers at Ambulance to create an interactive editorial for the new issue of ffw Mag!. The pictures alone are stunning, but the additional online content accessed through a webcam really takes the story to the next level.
