Way Model Management Releases Its First Calendar

Way Model Management in São Paulo, home to girls like Caroline Trentini, Alessandra Ambrósio, Laís Oliveira, and Debora Müller, is releasing its first ever calendar this year.

The calendar was shot entirely in a month, and features 25 commercial models from the agency photographed by 25 different Brazilian photographers, including Bob Wolfenson, Cristiano Madureira, Gui Paganini, Marcelo Krasilcic, Marcio Simch, Vavá Ribeiro, and others. Eleven renowned Brazilian stylists and seventeen beauty artists worked on the calendar, which is being distributed by Way Model Management exclusively to clients, editors, business partners, and tastemakers.

Musical producer and photographer Paulo Bega and photographer Marcio Simnch are opening a joint exhibition entitled Subjetivo tonight at Cartel 011, the same gallery in which we launched the first issue of Made In Brazil Magazine. The exhibit runs until September 11.

Vavá Ribeiro, one of my very favorite Brazilian photographers, is opening a solo show at Galeria Mezanino in São Paulo this coming Saturday. I will not be in the city this weekend, but I will make sure to stop by the gallery first thing next week to check out the exhibit. If you are in São Paulo, I highly recommend that you don't miss it. The show runs until September 4 only.
