  • São Paulo will be getting a brand new club soon. Hot Hot, a project of Flavia Ceccato and Joel Dibo, will open its doors in the Bela Vista neighborhood next month. The decor of the space will be inspired by Dannish designer Verner Panton, and include a LED panel with over 8,000 lights. Hot Hot will also be the first nightclub in Latin America to work with a Funktion-One sound system, and as if that wasn't enough to get me intrigued, the press release also promises absolutely no lines to pay on your way out.
  • Tom Ford for Tom Ford.
  • The Lady is a Vamp: Lady Gaga graces the cover of the latest Out, styled by Nicola Formichetti.
  • Behind the scenes at the She Wolf video with Shakira.
  • Another summer anthem by David Guetta.
  • Rodrigo Lopez, the gay Brazilian contestant on Big Brother UK this season, meets the Queen for tea (or at least that's what he thinks).

Tayane Leão, winner of last year's Ford Supermodel of the World, just got a brand new haircut. I am certain that it is only a matter of time until we start seeing her in major editorials and ad campaigns.
  • Bruna Tenório stars in the new Ports 1961 campaign shot in India.
  • Marlon Teixeira shot the new campaign for Brazilian label Vila Romana in Santa Catarina
  • Three new boys photographed by Didio
  • The cover art for Madonna's upcoming greatest hits collection Celebration hit the web. The album and an accompanying DVD are scheduled to be released on September 29.
  • The trailer for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland looks brilliant.
  • Whitney Houston debuted her new album I Look To You at a special listening party in New York on Tuesday night. I am totally jealous of all my friends who got to go, and I hear the album is amazing.
  • André Almada, owner of nightclub The Week, has announced that the club will be moving to a new location in 2013. The new club, to be located at a property recently acquired by Mr. Almada on Marginal do Tietê, will also include a complex with a pool, a convention center, office space for rent, and three to four levels of underground parking. And since we are on the topic of The Week, the club's branch in Rio is celebrating its second year in business with a big bash this Saturday. Please email me pictures if you attend the party.

Made In Brazil's Guide To São Paulo Gay Pride 2009

Gp060909 Coming to São Paulo for Gay Pride weekend? With a national holiday conveniently taking place on Thursday, the parties this year start tomorrow night and don't stop until Sunday. Nightclub The Week is hosting seven major parties, and launching its Eterna electronic music festival, while Flex and E.Joy are taking over luxury boutique Daslu for a very chic bash on Thursday night. There are more parties catering exclusively to girls this year than ever before, as well as options for bears, day parties, and the guest list only Fête Du Roi. I will do my best to cover most of the events here on MIB.

I have put together a complete party schedule to make your life easier. Check it out after the jump, and feel free to send me pictures and videos of the parties.

Eterna: The Week Launches Its Very Own Electronic Music Festival

Tw042809 The Week, the biggest gay nightclub in Brazil, has just announced the launch of the Eterna Festival, the first Latin American electronic music festival devoted exclusively to gays and lesbians. The first edition of the festival will take place between June 10 and June 14, at the same time of the 13th Annual São Paulo Gay Pride Parade. Seven parties are already on the schedule, and major national and international DJs are already booked. The parties will take place at The Week, Pacha, and Clube de Regatas Tietê, and over 25,000 people are expected to attend the event.

The list of international DJs landing in São Paulo for the festival includes names such as Tony Moran, Peter Rauhofer, Juanjo Martin, J.Louis, Abel, Chris Cox, and Enrico Arghentini. The country's most prominent DJs have also already been confirmed, along with Brazilian singers Lorena Simpson and Amannda.

As if news of the festival weren't enough, there is also a pre-party at The Week with DJs Offer Nissim and Isaac Escalante scheduled for the weekend of May 30. And there are already rumors that the nightclub may be taking the Eterna Festival abroad later in the year.

I will be covering all the parties here on MIB. Check out the line up of the Eterna Festival after the jump.
