The New Brazilian Girl Of The Season

1022101

1022102

It has been a while since a Brazilian girl with staying power has come along, but it looks like that may change. Newcomer Marcelia Freesz had a stellar season in São Paulo back in June, and was booked exclusively for Givenchy in Europe, skipping the Milan shows and making the second exit on Riccardo Tisci's runway last month in Paris. She is of the top ten newcomers of spring/ summer 2011 according to Models.com, and has a face that is destined to land a major beauty ad campaign. I am already looking forward to seeing her in the spring editorials.

Marcelia is represented by One Management in New York and Way in Brazil.

Sasha Pivovarova was in São Paulo last week to shoot the summer 2010 ad campaign for Brazilian accessories label Santa Lolla. I am curious to see the result.
