I know this is very random, but I saw this picture of Mateus Verdelho taken by Cristiano Madureira back in 2005 and just had to post it. He looks completely different without all the tattoos.

It took Mateus about half an hour to get it right, but he did it, and after that he just did not want to stop. And once the other boys we booked for the magazine knew we shot him skateboarding in the studio, they all wanted to do the same.

Love that Mateus was such a good sport, did not break anything in studio, and gave us some really sexy pictures to go with his skateboarding shots.

I thought Marlon Teixeira or Arthur Sales would definitely win this year, but I guess I was wrong. Model Mateus Verdelho takes the title of hottest Brazilian of 2009 with 23% of all your votes. I actually worked with Mateus a couple of weeks ago, and I am sure that you will be seeing a lot more of him in 2010.

Carlos Freire came in second this year with 19% of the votes, and newcomer Renato Ferreira came in third with 18% of the votes.
