My favorite showcards this season in Brazil come from Way Model Management. The agency invited prodigy graphic designer Romeu Silveira, responsible for U Mag and From Brazil With Love, to do the artwork on the cards for the fall shows in Brazil in January and the result is pretty stunning. PS- I am beyond excited Lea T. is featured in the package. I am very curious as to what labels will be booking her, and I hope she gets to walk at Animale with Raquel. Having a chance to Interview the two of them together backstage almost makse me want to wish I would cover the shows in Brazil this season.

Lovani Pinnow For Talie NK

Lovani Pinnow just so happens to be in the two Brazilian ad campaigns I actually like this season: Talie NK shot by Jacques Dequeker, and Osklen by Gui Paganini. Coincidentally, the two campaigns share not only the same model, but also the same surf theme, interpreted in two completely different ways.

Model João Zavaski graces the cover of the special issue of ffw Mag! dedicated entirely to the spring 2011 shows in Rio. The collections story photographed by Vavá Ribeiro and styled by Heleno Manoel for the issue is already my favorite editorial in Brazil this season, with a stunning mix of prints and textures, and a flawless casting of fresh faces that includes the likes of Lovani Pinnow, Thana Khunen, and newcomer Lucas Kittel. Osklen's Spring 2011 Ad Campaign Goes Blue

The past few ad campaigns by Brazilian label Osklen have been either very static and boring or just way too conceptual, but it seems that for spring 2011 the label finally got it right. The ads photographed by Gui Paganini featuring Estevão Loff and Lovani Pinnow are cool, fresh, and not pretentious. The stark white background paired with the models' pale skin and platinum hair provides the perfect contrast for the hand-dyed fabrics and all the shades of blue used in the collection.

The second season of Glee premieres tonight and I already cannot wait to download it on iTunes tomorrow morning (because that is the only legal way of watching the show a day after it airs when you live in São Paulo). Expect a rendition of Jay-Z and Alicia Keys' Empire State of Mind by the entire cast, and Lady Gaga and Beyoncé's Telephone by Rachel and Glee club newcomer Charice. Major.

Vogue Brazil Does Black Lace

Photography: beautiful.
Model: major. Lovani Pinnow is one of my favorite new Brazilian girls.
Styling: needs some serious improvement. If you are shooting black lace in the Northeast of the country, and those images are all your mind has the ability to create, you need to start looking at pictures like these.
