It May Look Like The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, But It Isn't

The 2011 Monange Dream Fashion Tour kicked off this past weekend in Curitiba with Alessandra Ambrósio, Izabel Goulart, Isabeli Fontana, Adriana Lima, and Ana Beatriz Barros. I love that it is a total knockoff of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and yet no one brings it up in Brazil. It looks so camp and fun though that I just may have to attend one of the shows this year.

After her sold out concert in New York on Saturday, singer Ivete Sangalo performed for a crowd of 60,000 people yesterday at Brazilian Day in Toronto. Watch two clips from the concert after the jump.

Ivete Sangalo Sells Out Madison Square Garden

Singer Ivete Sangalo performed at Madison Square Garden for the first time ever on Saturday night. Brazil's biggest entertainer was joined on stage by Juanes, Diego Torres, Wisin & Yandel, Seu Jorge, and Nelly Furtado, singing non-stop for three hours for a crowd of over 15,000 people.

The show was taped and will be broadcast on national television on December 5. A DVD will be released two days after the television premiere, and I am already looking forward to it from what I have heard about the show.
