As I mentioned before, the second issue of Made In Brazil Magazine is different from the first one in the sense that it features several stories by different photographers, stylists, and even illustrators. I was reluctant at first to sign on a fashion story for the second issue because I want the focus of the publication to be on the boys and not clothes, but after looking at the images styled by my friend Heleno Manoel and shot by Hugo Toni, I am glad we ended up producing a collections editorial. It turned out really fresh and sexy, which is how I see the magazine, and it opened the door to possibly producing more fashion stories on Brazilian designers in upcoming issues.
Fyi, the models featured in the story are Isaac Farisato and Dante Tozetto. You can view the entire spread at The Fashionisto or at Made In Brazil's facebook page.
Made In Brazil Magazine #2 is available at madeinbrazilmag.com and at Livraria Cultura in São Paulo, Recife, Brasília, and Porto Alegre.
Model João Zavaski graces the cover of the special issue of ffw Mag! dedicated entirely to the spring 2011 shows in Rio. The collections story photographed by Vavá Ribeiro and styled by Heleno Manoel for the issue is already my favorite editorial in Brazil this season, with a stunning mix of prints and textures, and a flawless casting of fresh faces that includes the likes of Lovani Pinnow, Thana Khunen, and newcomer Lucas Kittel.
