15 Brazilian Girls Walked The FNO Show, But Where Was Raquel?

From top to bottom, left to right: Tayane Leão, Izabel Goulart, Fabiana Semprebom, Martha Streck, Bruna Tenório, Jeisa Chiminazzo, Thana Kuhnen, Laís Ribeiro, Daiane Conterato, Aline Weber, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrósio, Flavia de Oliveira, Caroline Trentini, and Gisele.

I hadn't really commented on the big Fashion's Night Out show at Lincoln Center because I was shooting on location all day yesterday. I finally got to read everything about it and watch some clips this morning, and it looked like quite an undertaking. So thrilled to see many Brazilian girls on the runway, and while I did not really miss Isabeli, I really wish Raquel Zimmermann had also been part of it. Already cannot wait to watch the FNO documentary.

Love, Tony Ward, Kelly Rowland, Lady Gaga, And More Ad Campaigns

  • Caroline Trentini and Izabel Goulart star in the Express fall 2010 ad campaign photographed by Patrick Demarchelier.
  • What to expect of the second installment of Fashion's Night Out in New York.
  • In case you haven't seen the eight new collectible covers of Love yet, here they are.
  • My favorite editorial this week is definitely Tony Ward's story for the fall issue of 10 Men.
  • Lady Gaga's new album will be "shocking".
  • Listen to Kelly Rowland's new track Forever And A Day. I am addicted to it.
  • Watch the making of the new Forum ad campaign with Marlon Teixeira and Natalia Vodianova.
  • As more summer national campaigns are being unveiled, I find it unbelievable that not a single major label has booked Laís Ribeiro for their ad campaigns. In my opinion, she would have been a much better choice than Chanel Iman at Rosa Chá, or Lisanne de Jong at Alcaçuz. There is not a single new Brazilian girl chicer and cooler than Laís right now.

Lea T, Rodiney Santiago, Francisco Lachowski, And São Paulo Gay Pride

  • Brazilian transsexual and current face of Givenchy Lea T is featured in this month's Italian Vanity Fair. Gorgeous.
  • There is a Brazilian in the cast of Logo's new "gay housewives" show. His name is Rodiney Santiago, and according to Gawker his claim to fame is dating Reichen Lehmkuhl, also obviously in the show.
  • An extra dose of pictures of Francisco Lachowski at the shows in Rio this past week.
  • Edilson Nascimento in Made In Brazil Magazine #1.
  • Caroline Trentini by Fabio Bartelt.
  • Watch the new Eclipse TV spot.
  • Last night's AmfAR Gala in New York.
  • The 14th Annual São Paulo Gay Pride Parade this weekend is expected to bring in about R$ 200 million in revenue, with 3 million people expected at the parade this year. If you plan on attending, I recommend going on the early side around 1 or 2 in the afternoon, and not staying until very late for safety reasons.
