Galeria Mundo Mix is opening a lifestyle flagship store with over 5,000 square feet tonight in São Paulo. The new space, located at Avenida Augusta and Alameda Lorena, will feature art, furniture, books, and clothes by more than 40 different Brazilian designers, a corner devoted to new talent, and will also host Galeria Mezanino, one of my favorite art galleries in the city, curated by Renato De Cara.
Along with the opening of the store tonight, Galeria Mezanino will be opening a solo exhibit of artist Eduardo Sancinetti. The exhibit will be officially open to the public from tomorrow until October 16. Make sure to stop by the new space this weekend if you are in the city.

That is so awesome... I remember the days of Mercado Mundomix, lol... The arts scene in SP has become so very impressive lately, and it is so unique. I love it!

I plan to be in Brazil in October of 2011, and since these exhibits will leave on October 13 or 16 (...can't remember the date that I've just read) I hope to be there to witness this beauty and ingenuity!
