Please don't tell me that was just a coincidence: model Renata Kuerten scored the cover of January issue of Vogue Brazil again this year, and someone had the brilliant idea of shooting her with basically the same outfit she wore on her January 2009 cover? That is what I call starting the year on the wrong foot.
PS- can someone assure me that the rumors that Editora Globo bought the Vogue Brazil title are true? I don't think I can stand another year of mediocre editorials and lame covers.

that's a bit awful. I am growing more and more bored with Vogue. I'd of thought it would be fairly obvious that all they need to do to boost readership it shake it up a bit!

Hi,
Everytime i will go to Brazil i look to Vogue Brazil and i think a 100 times if i should buy it or just ignore! Its the same with Vogue Portugal. I dont know but now we have so fuc* good fashion magazine and pay 14 reais or 3,5 euros to vogue portugal its too much money for a few or none good information.
Lets hope Vogue go back for what it was.
Kisses,
Pedro Gurgel
P.s: Cant live without my daily read at made in brazil.

Well I thought you were sure about the switch from Vogue to a new publisher. Erika posted a comment on her blog explaning the new take on her career and how she will be the fashion editor of fashion foward. In addition she also mentioned being approached about one of the biggest publishers in the country to work for a great publication. Am I wrong to assume it might be Vogue? Regardless, Erika knows whats best for her life but I would really like to see what her take would be if she were to become the new editor. Any thoughts on who might replace Ms. Carta and Mr. Frasson?
