The Coolest New Building In São Paulo

Out of every single new building being developed in São Paulo right now, the one is by far my favorite. Fidalga 727 is the first residential building in the country designed by the much hyped French-Brazilian design firm Triptyque, and is currently under construction in the neighborhood of Vila Madalena.  Its eleven units range from 850 sq. foot apartments to a 3,000 sq. foot penthouse with over 1,150 sq. foot of outdoor space, and each apartment is unique and fully customizable.

For more information about the building, floorplans, and renderings, visit Fidalga 727.

PS- sorry about my recently developed obsession with architecture and furniture design, but it is a reflex of what's going in my life right now, and I figured it would be a good change for MIB as well.

The building seems to be really nice. The only thing I didn't like very much were those "Oscar_Niemeyeresque" crossed pillars on the ground floor.

Finally some new project in São Paulo that doesn't look like some neoclassic shit... And Vila Madalena is a pretty cool neighbourhood.

No way in hell would I rent/buy an apartment in that X-thingy-Foundation part of the building!

Don't apologize, I really like your architecture posts. They give me an even wider impression of Brazil. Thanks for that. Can we see that awsome museum in Rio again?
By the way, just who is Lebart?

I love architecture and furniture design,so this is much appreciated.
This building is awesome,I don't know why but the structure reminds me of a modern version of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera Home.

I think the architecture posts are great. The Real Estate market is booming not only in SP but all throughout Brazil and it is great that you are giving the world a little sneak peak of it. Keep them coming! That construction company has some other great projects in SP, particularly in Vila Madalena - one of my favorite neighborhoods in the world.

its an XXXX condo!

Dont apologize for the posting. I'm always looking for new ideas. And this certainly fits perfectly. I do want to know whats going on around the world. Thank you for the excellent work with MiB. Keep up with the good work. Greetings from Lisbon, Portugal. Hugz

who wants to live in Sao Paulo anyway? It's so dangerous you can't even go out. I had my sister killed a year ago in Sumaré. I'm living in Santiago, Chile now, and it's so safe. Will never go back to live in Sao Paulo. What are all these buildings for?

My recommendation is that if you are rich in Sao Paulo you should:

a) Have a very simple and old car, like an Uno Mille

b) Have a nice car, but an armored (bullet-proof) one

Also, you should never wear large "omega-like" or "Rolex-like" watches. You should keep a "fake" additional wallet in the car, with a little bit of money to give to the thieves.

I lived in Sao Paulo for 13 years and I was never robbed or kidnapped.
