Eterna: The Week Launches Its Very Own Electronic Music Festival

Tw042809 The Week, the biggest gay nightclub in Brazil, has just announced the launch of the Eterna Festival, the first Latin American electronic music festival devoted exclusively to gays and lesbians. The first edition of the festival will take place between June 10 and June 14, at the same time of the 13th Annual São Paulo Gay Pride Parade. Seven parties are already on the schedule, and major national and international DJs are already booked. The parties will take place at The Week, Pacha, and Clube de Regatas Tietê, and over 25,000 people are expected to attend the event.

The list of international DJs landing in São Paulo for the festival includes names such as Tony Moran, Peter Rauhofer, Juanjo Martin, J.Louis, Abel, Chris Cox, and Enrico Arghentini. The country's most prominent DJs have also already been confirmed, along with Brazilian singers Lorena Simpson and Amannda.

As if news of the festival weren't enough, there is also a pre-party at The Week with DJs Offer Nissim and Isaac Escalante scheduled for the weekend of May 30. And there are already rumors that the nightclub may be taking the Eterna Festival abroad later in the year.

I will be covering all the parties here on MIB. Check out the line up of the Eterna Festival after the jump.
