It has been cloudy since I arrived in Arraial D'Ajuda, but it has been pretty relaxing and nice to be here. I have been staying at Hotel Maitei, which is a place I would highly recommend if you are headed this way.
My dad had suggested the hotel, and so far it has fulfilled all my expectations. The rooms are very cool and chic (in a perfect for the beach sort of way), with amazing views of the beach, hammocks in the balcony, and a jacuzzi with water views. There are two infinity edge pools, lounge chairs, a sauna, and a small gym which I do not plan on using. As if that wasn't enough, breakfast is truly superb, and the barman makes the most killer caipifrutas you have ever had.

I've always wanted to go to Brazil in one of my travels now I have the perfect place to stay when I am there.
