Landmarks around the globe have gone pink for breast cancer awareness during October. Last night it was time for Rio to show its support by lighting Cristo Redentor pink.
One out of eight women suffer from breast cancer in Brazil, and 10,000 die of the disease every year. Other landmarks across the country have already gone pink for breast cancer awareness this month. Visit O Globo Online for pictures.
