It hasn't even been a year since I reported on the opening of BR Concept on the corner of Houston and Wooster street in SoHo, and the store has already closed.
BR Concept carried labels such as Rosa Chá, Iódice, Zoomp, and Colcci, but in all honesty the selection of merchandise was pretty bad. New Yorkers are much better off hitting the Osklen store on Wooster when it comes to Brazilian fashions.

WHAT A GREAT CONCEPT!
I felt really bad when i saw this note on this web-site....Made in Brazil??????? BR CONCEPT was a great store, the was closed in less than a year, because of personal problems of the Owner TJCIII. The store was a great success in 7 months that was opened, for your understanding it was profitable already, and as a manager of it, i will re-open it, on my own! I will make sure that i will let you know about the grand opening. As a professional, you should have called me and ask about the closing....
Anyways, if you would like to know the reason BR Concept was closed at Soho, fell free to contact me anytime, before putting your own opinion out there....
In 6 months of operation BR Concept was profitable and had a client list with over 8,000 names....people who is still waiting for the opening of the new store....
Hope to see you all at the GRAND opening....
BTW, if the person who wrote this note on MADE IN BRAZIL?????? doesn't like the selection that we have...too bad....its the first time i get in this web site....should i say what i think about it? I rather keep it to myself.
see you all at the opening....
BR CONCEPT coming spring 2009...with the same brands....xoxo see u there
