More images from the Michael Roberts shoot at the beach in Rio a week ago: Isabeli Fontana gets a lift from Andre Ziehe and David Chaloub, amongst a cast of hot boys from 40 Graus Models.

The images will be used to promote the new swimwear show Rio Summer this November. More here.

And on the topic of Rio Summer, how come I haven't gotten invited yet? I mean, I am a far cry from Valentino, Anna Wintour, or even Tinsley Mortimer, but which one of them is going to produce tons of pictures and videos to actually promote the event on the web for the world to see?

hate that bitch.

É uma pena que em sendo Michael Roberts negro e o Brasil um país multiracial ,apenas um negro, do muitos que existem no Brasil, apareça nesta foto. Black is beautiful contanto que não apareça na foto.

GENTEM

PLEASE MORE MORE ANDRÉ ZIEHE

MAIS ANDRÉ ZIEHE.

O CARA É SENSACIONAL.

VALEU!

Amazing! Brasil is a multi-racial society and not one man of colour. Not one! I think Made In Brasil site has a slightly racist leaning toward only showing white men. That's too bad and a real disgrace. I think it's time to get a boycott of this site going.

Why don't you take that up with Michael Roberts? He cast the spread, photographed it, and just so happens to be black. If anyone is to blame on this particular case, that would have to be him.

And while it is easy to complain about the lack of black models here, I would highly suggest trying to name ten black male models which are either walking all the major shows or being photographed for fashion magazines. All the attention that has been geared at black female models recently has unfortunately not made an impact when it comes to the boys.

Mike: why don't you start with own blog with info and pics if you are so concerned about that?

The owner of this blog (who I do not know nor I am related in any way), posts pics he finds, people send him and so on...he is not the one taking the pics, making the castings or directing the photoshoots.

Plus as far as I am concerned it's his own blog!!! He can post, write, and upload whatever content he prefers.

Maybe he just likes white- latin-mixed guys, maybe this are the only pics he finds, or maybe he is not attracted to black guys, and it does not make any diff. it is his blog!! he is entitled to post any content he prefers.

If you are so concerned about the under representation of black guys in the Fashion industry and the Gay media you have here a wonderful opportunity to do something, start something new!... but please stop complaining and attacking a 3rd person who last time I checked has the right to do whatever he pleases as long as it is not offensive (And I have never seen any negative/unappropiate comments about race in here)

Shame on Michael Roberts! Not a single black person showing on this ad campaign!

The color issue is major in this vast culture of Brasil. Ask who is featured in leading roles and jobs in Brasill? Not individuals of a definitive hue. This reigns supreme across the board in all circles, not excluding the modeling industry.

As a person of color who has come to this blog for the past two years, I have found the lack of men of color to have been addressed by the blogmaster as well as other bloggers. When the blogmaster has encountered a gorgeous man or men of color, he has posted the pics here. How do I know? I've written to him personally as well as seen the pics and have posted along with others.

I'm also a man of color who visits this site regularly and have also seen the blogmaster address the issue more than once. It's definitely just a manifestation of the Eurocentric ideals of beauty that exist worldwide - Asia, the Americas, and even Africa - and at least the blogmaster has acknowledged the issue and is raising consciousness when he can.

Still, I have to point out that the ONE brother they DID find for this photo is MUCH more striking than the majority of the bland, random, average guys standing in the back. He's gorgeous - but then, to be black and a model, you usually have to be insanely attractive while everyone else can be, just, blah.

Just my humble opinion.

They're all hot guys. No reason to make the situation worse by saying offensive, spiteful comments.
