Suede Is The New Jay

Last night I finally got to watch Project Runway on its regularly scheduled time as opposed to after illegally downloading it, which was a real treat. I liked that the challenge was not copied from past seasons: designers had to create a cocktail dress for their models, with fabric purchased by the models themselves. And there was another spin: they had to work with a pretty slim selection of green fabrics.

Since the models had no idea of how many yards of fabric it takes to put together a dress, we were left with a parade of the shortest and most ill-fitting dresses seen on the show (and I am not even going to comment on the girls' sense of color which made things even worse).

My favorite number was the one designed by Kenley. It was actually elegant, and it fit the model like a glove. I also liked Suede's, but something about it looked rather cheap and unfinished on the TV screen. He also really annoys me already, sort like a version of Jay from season 1.

The worst? I would have sent Leanne home because there is something cute about Wesley, but this isn't a cuteness competition and Wesley's dress was a mess. As for Korto, she should have had her model stroll down the runway with her dress inside out. It would have fit her well (if you don't take the curved hem into consideration), and we would have been spared of the darts sticking out as shark fins.

I love PR, i hope you do this every week, I love your take on things

Wesley was cute sad to see him go, I do think Suede deserved his win though

Kenley's dress was very Christian-esque - and probably should have won. Check out my recap...
