The First Apple Shop In South America Opens In Rio

But don't get too excited yet: we are not talking about an actual Apple Store like the modern glass temples built across the United States, but an Apple Shop built inside Fnac at Barra Shopping mall in Rio. Still the entire project was developed, and is being supervised by Apple, and offers a full range of products which include the new MacBook Air. The only problem is that the prices are still more than double of what most Apple products cost in North America.

Eight more units of the Apple Shop are set to open until the end of the year in São Paulo, Campinas, Brasília, Curitiba, and Porto Alegre.

I am going to get it out of the way and say it: I am not a big fan of the styling here, but you just can't go wrong with Saulo Melo. Aside from being super sweet, the kid is as hot as they come and does not have one bad angle, so I am happy he was chosen as the coverboy for the 4th issue of Junior magazine.

The pictures were taken by Fernando Torquatto, and there is another exclusive image after the jump (semi-NSFW).

Kaiser Karl Is In Town

Just took this picture in SoHo on my way to the gym. You gotta love the fact that he has two hot body guards with him (although you would not be able to tell from my pic).

Happy Meal

Project Runway has just ended, and I already find myself hooked on another show not available in Brazil: Top Chef. Aside from it being highly entertaining and from Padma being one of the sexiest women on TV, this season Top Chef features not only one, but two chefs who are seriously too cute: Spike and Ryan.

Watching Spike shirtless for several takes last night was the icing on the cake (no pun intended).

I hate that now that iTunes no longer offers Bravo shows for sale I am going to have to watch the rest of the season illegally on YouTube as soon as am back in Brazil.

A Semana: Models, Seal, Leona, Beyoncé, And A Big Gay Wedding

Brazilian model Raphael Lacchine is on his way to Milan to shoot the new Diesel underwear campaign.

Raquel Zimmermann teamed up with Kaiser Karl for yet another Fendi ad campaign, and Models.com managed to capture the shoot on video.

Model Aline Weber, who you may remember as look #1 on Balenciaga, just shot a 26-page spread for Numéro, and is in LA shooting the new Moschino campaign with David Bailey.

Seal performed in São Paulo last night after being away from Brazilian stages for 16 years. He plays in the city again tonight.

Both Justin Timberlake and Shakira have canceled their upcoming performances in Brazil.

Leona Lewis' debut single Bleeding Love just broke into the #1 spot at Billboard's Hot 100, making her the first British female solo artist in 21 years to achieve this milestone. I told you she was gonna be huge.

Beautiful Nigthmare: a new track by Beyoncé makes its way to YouTube.

Ricky Martin (in muscle bear version) gives naked thrill in hotel sauna.

Ohlala Mag goes backstage at a fashion show in Brooklyn.

São Paulo will host a big gay wedding on April 10. 30-year-old Felipe Campos and 24-year-old Rafael Cordeiro will sign a partnership agreement in a ceremony for over 1,000 guests, done candomblé style. The couple hopes to raise awareness of gay marriage with the big bash, and possibly inspire other couples to do the same.

Quick thank you note to my friends Billy and Matthew for The Little Black Book Of Style I got on Monday. I love it and can't believe you guys did that. Now if you could only get Nina Garcia to pose with a Made In Brazil sign.

Stalking Pato

Caroline Trentini is not the only only jumping these days.

Soccer sensation Alexandre Pato celebrating his goal which led Brazil to victory in the match against Sweden yesterday. Can someone please tell me why L'Uomo Vogue or V Man haven't shot him yet?

Another picture from yesterday's match after the jump.
