Marc Jacobs is getting pretty used to posing shirtless for magazines this year: he did it for Out in September, and now again for the latest issue of Arena Homme +, shot by his partner in crime Juergen Teller.
If you got it, flaunt it.

Yeah...TC wake up... America is no longer cool... do you pay attention to current events or have you bothered leaving the US for a quick minute? I suppose you think Bush has done a great job too. Marc Jacobs is totally over rated and looks like beef jerky... not cool at all. Get a new perception, better yet just shut up!!!

He's not sick, he just gave up wheat and dairy and works out 6 days a week. And he wasn't retouched to hell and back. That's what a man looks like.

Tony from the west village has no clue what is fashionable and what isn't, name dropping isn't classy but he seemed to do a bit of it in his little rant.. When he gets some class, then get back to us and then maybe, just maybe he can comment on others.. cheers

oh and another thing, marc does a lot of good for the world, maybe if some of you took the time to actually find out instead of judging people you would see that. Maybe you all should take a nice hard look at yourselves before passing judgement on anyone. No one is perfect including you!!!!!

Jacobs has smartly aligned himself with people that ensure his line is successful and his stores and product lines are doing nothing but expanding. I don't think you can call him rediculous in any sense of the word. You can dislike his face and that's your right but know that he is successful in ways you'll never dream.

I agree that he looks a bit too sinewy perhaps. I'm kind of surprised by the people who don't like his face. I think that's his best feature. Neverthelss, he has had a successful career and I believe overcome a few personal demons along the way, so that is more of an accomplishment than posing with your clothes off in any magazine.
On the one hand, yes, we're a society that is obsessed by perfection and over critical of people's appearance. On the other, it was Marc's choice to pose in this manner. I'm not going to feel sorry or defend anyone who exposes himself in such a manner. Although, I might respect his willingness to put himself, all of himself, out there in such a blatant way.

I AGREE BUSH HAS DONE A TERRIBLE JOB, BUT MARC JACOBS IS STILL AMERICAN COOL, NEW YORK COOL! YES, I DO GET OUT OF THE US AND I LOVE BRAZIL, eUROPE ETC... BUT IN MY OPINION NEW YORK AND AMERICA ARE STILL WAY COOLER.

I think he looks very handsome. and, if you turn out handsome after ages not being so, it's quite nice to flaunt it.
i should know. i was thin and big headed and had bad skin. but i worked on things. worked out, ate more and better, took better care of my skin, entered pilates.
all these things added up to self-esteem and i now feel comfortable in being photographed shirtless or go the beach, etc.

It's all the coke that has changed Marc. We in the fashion world are concerned due to a less than perfect show during New York fashion week. He says he is moving to Paris and will show his collection along side Louis Vuitton. As for New York, I here that it is back in fashion again. Even Karl Lagerfeld is in love with it and has gotten a flat in the city. His collection for Chanel in Paris had stars and stripes, very interesting.
