After covering shows for over a week in Rio, all I wanted to do was get to São Paulo, rest for a couple of hours, and party. Since my flight was delayed yesterday in the morning, I had to skip the resting part, and head straight to Gira-Sol day party, the big event of the day.
I am not a connoisseur when it comes to DJs, but the best set of the party was definitely the one by Brett Henrichsen, around 4:30 in the afternoon. The music was happy, uplifting, and all the boys on the dance floor were singing along. Before he started playing, Mr. Henrichsen unveiled his new tattoo, and I had to take a picture.
The party was so much fun that I ended up staying until about 11, when there were still two DJs on the line-up waiting to play. DJ Peter Rauhofer played at The Week last night but I had no energy to attend.
There are many more pictures of the first ever Gira-Sol party after the jump. Make sure to check them out.
A great party means attention to every detail, from hot bartenders to The Week cash.
And just because today is Sunday, here are some go-go boys in speedos:
Special thanks to the staff at The Week and Mix Brasil for giving me access to all the areas of the party.
