A Semana: Young Actors, Brazilianizers, and Anna Wintour

Actor Bruno Gagliasso celebrated his 25th birthday last Friday with a costume party. He dressed up as Captain America.

The 18th annual GLAAD Media Awards took place this past Saturday in Los Angeles, honoring TV shows such as Ugly Betty and Brothers & Sisters.

Miss Minas Gerais Natália Guimarães was elected the new Miss Brasil.

Matthew McConaughey is the newest Brazilianizer on the block now that he is apparently dating Brazilian model Camila Alves.

Terry Richardson is also on a Brazilianizer ride. The photographer will land in Rio later this month to work on a book about the city, in partnership with Diesel.

Brazilian Alice Braga, who you may remember from City Of God, is one of the most promising young stars in Hollywood according to Vanity Fair.

Anna Wintour will be on the Today show on Friday morning, and she will be taking the 10 supermodels from the cover of the May issue of Vogue with her. Southern Brazilian blondes Carol Trentini and Raquel will be representing the country. My favorite new face Chanel Iman (who happens to be only 16 and already on the cover of Vogue) is on call as well.

Made In Brazil wishes happy birthday to model Evandro Soldati.
