A Semana: Fashion, Models, And Sir Elton

June is going to be a very gay month: Fashion Rio is scheduled for June 4 to 10, which is when the Gay Pride parade is supposed to take place in São Paulo. The fashion blitz is set to continue in São Paulo after the gayest weekend of the year with the spring collections at SPFW, which happens from June 13 to 19. That is two weeks with no sleep for me.

While Naomi is busy cleaning the streets of New York, my favorite Southern Brazilian models Carol Trentini and Raquel Zimmermann star in the amazing Foot Fiction spread on French Vogue. Carol is also on the new leopard-heavy Dolce & Gabbana ads.

Brazil's famous jellies Melissa took Paris by storm and ended up at Collete.

Next magazine got a complete makeover, revamped logo, and a Late Night Confidential column.

Designer Thom Browne finally unveiled his collection for Brooks Brothers in New York. Forgive me if I am mistaken, but it looked exactly like a medley of his past collections for his own label (meaning I am not sure if the Brooks Brothers' customer is going to go for clothes better suited for a 5-year-old attending Harvard).

Sir Elton John will celebrate his 60th birthday with his 60th concert at MSG this Sunday. His entire catalog will be available digitally for the first time on iTunes. For more gay music, Arjan has an interview with Mika.
