O Viado Veste Pra Dá

Brazilian drag queen Thália Bombinha takes on "The Devil Wears Prada" in the video below. You don't have to speak Portuguese to fully appreciate it.

FYI, the hottie in the bathroom scene is Adonis Galvão.

According to Mix Brasil, the video which won the Gongo Show in São Paulo this year has catapulted Thália into stardom. She has been invited to participate in a spot for Globo network, and will perform in São Paulo's comedy show Terça Insana.

That's all.

iF-Approved Brazilian Designs

From 150 entries submitted by the country, 19 Brazilian designs were selected by the acclaimed iF Design Award, one of the most important design competitions worldwide. The winning designs, ranging from furniture to packaging, will be showcased in March of next year at the Hannover Exhibition Center. Via UOL.

More Calendar Boys

Here are more pictures from the calendar of Brazilian hotties included in the 4th issue of Key Magazine:

Clockwise from top left: Pedro Neschling (my favorite picture btw), Anderson Dornelles, Jonathan Haagensen, and Rodrigo Hilbert. I am happy to see at least one ethnic boy featured (you may remember Jonathan from City Of God).

Raquel Zimmermann Does LV (Again!)

You have probably seen a lot of Raquel lately thanks to the Gap holiday campaign in every magazine and billboard across town. She had booked Vuitton for fall, and is back for the new resort 2007 ads.

Not crazy about the make up though. It makes her look like a cross between Caroline Murphy and Daria.

And she is also on the January 2007 cover of Vogue Nippon, which you can check out after the jump.

New Brazilian Supermodels

There must be something in the water in the south (and I am not just saying that because I am a southern boy myself): 15-year-old Vanessa Cruz was the Brazilian winner at last night's Ford Models Supermodel Of The World 2006 at Hotel Unique in São Paulo. She will represent Brazil in New York early next year. Former winners include the likes of Camila Finn and Liliane Ferrarezi.

The male model winner was 18-year-old Gabriel Grandi.
