The work of artist Márcia X entitled "Desenhando em terços" was removed this week from the exhbition "Erotica - Os sentidos na arte" at Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil in Rio because it was considered too controversial. In an exhbition where controversy is actually the main theme, the real issue with the work was its religious connotation, which did not go well with the church. FYI, over 56 thousand people had already attended "Erotica" in São Paulo, and no complaints about the work had been made. For more of Márcia's work, visit her official website.
