SPFW: VR Menswear

VR presented a very unexpected collection this season, with clothes a lot more forward than I would ever expect from the label. The preppy school-boy looks from last fall were replaced by a line-up of geometric prints, ponchos, blazers with unfinished seams, and asymmetrical closures. The innovations worked at its best at the beginning of the show, and were carried through effectively. The problem here is imagining VR's traditional customer sporting any of these looks on Casual Fridays.
