After last season's parade of artsy (aka unflattering) dresses, Mr. Herchcovitch searched for inspiration in the Renaissance and created a collection which was a lot more commercial (aka wearable) than his previous ones. For next fall, he kept on tweaking the all the exquisite jackets he loves so much in different fabrications and proportions, but his real glory were the dresses, which came in flowy orange chiffons as well as silver latex. The designer also scored extra points this season with his subtle floral prints, which were certainly not overdone as in previous collections.
And being the enterpreneur that he is, Mr. Herchcovitch unveiled the new uniforms he designed for McDonald's yesterday. Among his McInnovations, the introduction of denim and violet sneakers.
