Disarm (The Outcome)

Yesterday Brazilian citizens voted in a referendum to ban the commercialization of guns in the country. The proposed ban (which was backed by the government, the Catholic Church and the United Nations), was rejected by 64%of the voters . The campaign for voting NO to the ban convinced voters that it would have no effect on criminals, on the grounds that criminals do not buy guns legally in shops. Now I wonder if the government will finally start to act heavily on public security (and I certainly hope it will).

i agree with not banning the sale of guns. If i lived in Brazil i would own a gun because i wouldnt trust the government to protect me.
