We don't celebrate Halloween in Brazil, but I thought I'd give you guys a treat anyway. 32-year-old soap actor (and uber hunk) Alexandre Barillari recently posed for Globo's Paparazzo and here are some of the pictures...

Since there is a lot of speculation going around about the kiss between Junior and Zeca in the soap America, it is my civil duty here to certify that my fellow Brazilians are not that concerned or bothered over the kiss. While I am certain that Globo has received complaints about the gay kiss, soap writer Glória Perez (known for pushing some buttons with controversial themes) said she has received massive support for the kiss scene (and even the actors' mothers said they couldn't wait for it).

And as far as the support for gays in the Brazilian media goes, don't forget that the last winner of Big Brother Brasil was openly gay, and that Globo has featured diverse gay and lesbian couples in 3 recent soaps. There is still a long way to go, but at least it is a start. Click here to email Globo network and petition for the kiss.
