No more Star!

Captemy20009190133emmys_emy200_1I am happy to announce that (according to Page Six) Star Jones' contract with E! has not been renewed... The purple velvet tragedy she wore to the Emmys will be the symbol of the last time she harrassed celebrities on the red carpet. According to Star, she needs to focus her energy on promoting her new book (and keeping an eye on her hubby's escapades).

Gisele on a Tattoo Frenzy

In her latest commercial and ad campaign for her Ipanema line of sandals, supermodel Gisele Bundchen got covered in tattoos (all very sexy and with a tropical vibe). You can watch the film here. These are the campaign photos which are now gigantic billboards all over the country (click to enlarge).

Since 2002, Gisele has managed to sell over 60 million pair of the sandals manufactured by Grendene. The new campaign reportedly cost over $2 million dollars (but every penny spent seems to be worth it).

VMB 2005

Vmb2005Tomorrow night MTV Brazil will be hosting its version of the VMAs entitled Video Music Brasil. The cool thing about the Brazilian spin off is that the viewers actually get to vote in all the major categories online. This year's 10 nominees for Best International Video range from Green Day and Good Charlotte to the Backstreet Boys and Hanson (if you don't believe it, take a look at it for yourself).

Fotolog Of The Week: Pexaum

I was at the beach this weekend so there was no voting, and once again I got to have my dictator moment. I present to you Pexaum because I am feeling his bad boyness this week (not to mention the thick legs and big guns).

Squeeze it harder! More self-obsession and gratuitous flexing after the jump.

It's a country thing! (Part II)

As a new month approaches, here is a final look at Victor Wagner in the September issue of G. The back view is after the jump.

Go East!

I spent this past weekend in East Hampton at The Baker House, the most beautiful B&B I have ever stayed in there (and I know a few). Just to give you an idea (because the place deserves the free advertisement), the grounds are perfectly manicured and include an infinity edge pool, the spa in the basement is modern and sleek, and the staff could not be nicer. Add a great breakfast to that (with fresh baked muffins), and you are in for a very relaxing weekend.

This is my favorite time of the year to go to the Hamptons because it is not crowded, and all you need is a light sweater to stay warm (not to mention that the sky looks amazing on a sunny day). Even though this was probably my last shot at the beach this year, I can't wait to go back...
