Brazil's most notorious plastic sandal Melissa is celebrating 25 years with an exhibition at Rio's Museum of Modern Art supervised by Giovanni Bianco and journalist Erika Palomino. For the event, 100 pairs of white original 1979 sandals were sent to photographers, designers, stylists, celebrities (and even a chef!) to be customized and re-interpreted. The exhibition is entitled Plastic.O.Rama Made In Brasil, and opens this Thursday.
