Herchcovitch's fall collection was an explosion of color and styles, but not a surprise in terms of direction. He followed his instinct for mixing prints (clouds/camouflage this time around), combining a bit of Brazilian popular culture to traditional Victorian shapes and adding an 80s feel to it, using latex in unexpected ways (to create a lace effect over tulle on Caroline Trentini's last look), and sticking to earthy tones, purples, and pinks. The presentation was very focused (and the styling was innovative as usual), but in the end it all looked just a little too busy and overdone for me.
