A popcorn cart custom designed by street artist Magoo Felix for SP-Arte, the most important art fair in Latin America, which starts today and runs until May 15 at Ibirapuera Park. Eighty seven galleries are participating in the event this year, including some of my favorites like Mezanino, Fortes Vilaça, Zipper, and Choque Cultural. It is one of my favorite events in the city, so I highly recommend that you attend.

For pricing and more information, click here.

Since I will be in São Paulo this year, I would love it if you guys would email me pictures and videos from the parties in Rio and Floripa (although I would highly recommend leaving your phones at the hotel just in case).

Galeria Mundo Mix is opening a lifestyle flagship store with over 5,000 square feet tonight in São Paulo. The new space, located at Avenida Augusta and Alameda Lorena, will feature art, furniture, books, and clothes by more than 40 different Brazilian designers, a corner devoted to new talent, and will also host  Galeria Mezanino, one of my favorite art galleries in the city, curated by Renato De Cara.

Along with the opening of the store tonight, Galeria Mezanino will be opening a solo exhibit of artist Eduardo Sancinetti. The exhibit will be officially open to the public from tomorrow until October 16. Make sure to stop by the new space this weekend if you are in the city.

According to São Paulo Turismo or SPTuris, Gay Pride is the event that brings the largest number of tourists to the city, with over 400,000 national and international tourists in town for the weekend, spending approximately R$ 827 each.
