Loca In São Paulo

The rain certainly didn't stop Shakira last night at Morumbi Stadium in São Paulo. Here are three clips from the concert.

I didn't go to the concert because I was shooting until late (and also because I think Morumbi Stadium is one of the worst places in the country to attend a concert), but my friends at Papel Pop were there and have some great video footage of Shakira interacting with the audience. Check it out here.

Stephan Doitschinoff, Alessandra Ambrósio, Shakira, And Let's Club

  • Street artist Stephan Doitschinoff is releasing his first print in over three years tomorrow afternoon at Galeria Choque Cultural in São Paulo. The print in silkscreen and lettepress is entitled Céus Abertos and limted to 100 copies only. I am definitely getting one.
  • Alessandra Ambrósio will be replacing Gisele as the face of Brazilian label Colcci next season, and rumor has it that the label has signed on Ashton Kutcher to pose next to Alessandra in the campaign.
  • David Sims will be shooting Anja Rubik for the new Tufi Duek ad campaign next week in New York.
  • Kevin Tachman photographs the men of Front Management.
  • Gender bender: FFW goes tranny chic.
  • Watch the amazing feature directed by Solve Sundsbo for the New York Times Magazine, featuring  James Franco, Natalie Portman, and twelve other actors.
  • Watch Adele's new video for Rolling In The Deep.
  • Shakira will be performing in Brazil next year, with concerts scheduled in Porto Alegre, Brasília, and São Paulo on March 13, 16, and 19. Can't wait.
  • If you are in Rio tonight, make sure to check out the sixth anniversary edition of MOO, with a performance by WhoMadeWho and DJs Luke Howard, Diogo Reis, and Eduardo Christoph.
  • Let's Club in Brasília is celebrating its first anniversary this weekend, with parties tonight and tomorrow night. Singer Wanessa will be performing, and tons of hot go-go boys will be on stage along with DJs Hellen Chic, André Queiroz, Moshe, Fernando Cunha, and many others. Expect pictures and videos next week.
  • Loving the tweets with pictures of Made In Brazil Magazine #2. Keep on sending them to @blogmib!

Loca In The Parking Lot

Shakira treated fans to an impromptu performance of her latest single Loca in the parking lot after playing in Anaheim on Monday night. I may just get a few shirtless male models as back up dancers and do exactly the same to promote the second issue of Made In Brazil Magazine.

Ai Papi!

Shakira is crazy, but I love her. I am sure this song is going to be blasting non-stop on the radio come nye in Punta del Este.
