Made In Brazil Magazine #3

Sorry for the lack of updates today, but the day was a little crazy with the preview of the new issue of the magazine on, and I didn't want to take the attention away from that. Also, the magazine will not be the only thing new here this week. We are also launching a brand new version of Made In Brazil, with a new design, more features, and bigger pictures. Expect it to be up at sometime tomorrow, along with links to purchase copies of Made In Brazil Magazine #3 and a few other surprises.

It's going to be a very hectic week here on my end, but I am beyond excited to be releasing the third issue of the magazine, which is bigger (and with even more boys) than the previous two. Hope you guys will love it as much as I do.

Shot a pretty epic story for the third issue of Made In Brazil Magazine yesterday in New York. Don't want to spoil anything, but the experience on the set was really magical. Cannot wait to have the new issue out.

Gratuitous Diego Miguel Post

A previously unpublished outtake of Diego Miguel's story for Made In Brazil Magazine #2, photographed by Cristiano Madureira.

Made In Brazil Magazine #2 is available at Global News in New York City and online at Thanks to your support, we have now less than 100 copies of the issue still in stock and have already started working on the next one.

Fyi, I also posted a larger version of the picture above on twitter @blogmib for those of you who may need a new wallpaper.

A Little Arthur To Get You Through The Weekend

Photographer Marcelo Krasilcic has posted some images of the story with Arthur Sales he shot for Made In Brazil Magazine #2 on his blog. I am a huge fan of his work and was thrilled that I got to work with him when I was in New York in October of last year.

If you are in New York, Global News on 12th street and 8th Avenue still has a few copies of the second issue of the magazine. You can also get it online at There are less than 100 copies now available in stock, so make sure to pick up one. The first issue is already sold out.

If you bought a copy online and still hasn't received it, we apologize for the delays but according to the national postal service, USPS has recently changed the regulations for international packages over 450g (fyi, the magazine weighs 850g) because of terrorism, and that along with the several snow storms throughout the country and the holiday season has caused several delays.

Newcomers Vinícius, Pedro, And Igor In Made In Brazil Magazine #2

In time for the fall/ winter 2011 shows in Brazil, three of my favorite newcomers shot by Cristiano Madureira for the second issue of Made In Brazil Magazine: Vinícius Bergamine at François Models and 40 Graus Models, Pedro Nóbrega at Way Model Management, and Igor Ducceschi at Oca Models. I won't be covering the shows in person, but hope the three of them will have a great season.

The last shipment of Made In Brazil Magazine #2 which arrived at Global News in New York sold out so fast that they requested an additional shipping. They received the 40 more copies yesterday, and since the issue is now almost sold out, this will be the last shipment of the  second issue they will be getting. Make sure to stop by and pick up a copy if you haven't already. Global News is located on the corner of 12th street and 8th Avenue in the West Village.

The first issue of Made In Brazil Magazine, released in May of last year, is completely sold out. Thanks to all of you who purchased a copy of the two issues. We already have tons of ideas for the third one, and if it weren't for your support the project for the magazine would not have been possible.
