Marc Jacobs Nailed It At Louis Vuitton

If you ask me the one show I would have loved to have seen in person this season, the answer is now simple: Louis Vuitton. While it may not be my favorite collection, it was certainly my favorite show to watch. Every time the elevator doors opened, it was a surprise: Raquel in her only appearance this season, Naomi, Amber Valetta, Carolyn Murphy, and Kate Moss in the end. From the soundtrack to the set to the casting, it all felt magic even on the live broadcast. It is the one show this season I am sure everyone will remember.

The Brazilians at the show: Raquel Zimmermann, Izabel Goulart, Aline Weber, Isabeli Fontana, and Bruna Tenório.

SPFW, Vogue, Couture, Cindy Lauper, And Kelly Rowland

  • The spring couture shows are already under way in Paris. Martha Streck was the only Brazilian girl at Dior today.
  • São Paulo Fashion Week starts on Friday. I won't be covering the shows again this season, but here is the complete line up. Expect appearances by Christina Aguilera, Alessandra Ambrósio, Gisele, Paris Hilton, and Ashton Kutcher, who will be landing in São Paulo with Demi Moore for the Colcci show this coming Sunday.
  • Lara Stone was in Rio last week shooting Vogue with Mario Testino and Brazilian actor Diego Cristo.
  • Candy Pratts Price will be coming to São Paulo on January 31 for a lecture.
  • Alessandra Ambrósio and her beau in the February issue of Vogue.
  • Justin Bieber lands the cover of Love.
  • The Raf Simons guide by Cathy Horyn.
  • Watch Karl Lagerfeld prepare Chanel's spring haute couture collection.
  • Cindy Lauper is coming to Brazil next month. She will be performing a series of eight concerts starting February 19 in Recife.
  • Kelly Rowland will be performing at the E.Joy party during Carnival in Florianópolis on March 6.
  • If you are in São Paulo on Friday, don't miss another edition of the Buati party at Lions nightclub with DJs Serginho Amorim, Rafael RM2, and Gustavo Tatá.

Rottweiler Chic

Rottweilers are now a trend for fall thanks to Riccardo Tisci's Givenchy show yesterday in Paris. I really liked this collection in particular, and loved that our cover boy Gabriel Burger walked the show for the second season in a row. Givenchy's casting is my favorite so far this season along with Jil Sander's.
