Bruna And Marc Have A Moment

0918095

Bruna Tenório and Marc Jacobs shot the cover of Japanese magazine Spur together this week in New York. Bruna, btw, is having a great season so far, booking Marc Jacobs (of course), Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren, Zac Posen, DVF, Jason Wu, and several other shows. And in case you didn't know it, she also has a blog.

The Season For Bruna And Daiane

Bruna Tenório and Daiane Conterato are keeping busy this season: at Marc Jacobs, Thakoon, and Zac Posen.

Btw, I loved Marc Jacobs' show last night, but since I wasn't there in person to tell you what went on, you are much better off reading what Cathy Horyn has to say about it.

Bruna For Elle Brazil

My favorite cover girl on Brazilian newsstands this month: Bruna Tenório in a dress by André Lima on Elle.

Tayane Leão, Madonna's Celebration, Whitney Houston, And The Week

  • Tl072309
Tayane Leão, winner of last year's Ford Supermodel of the World, just got a brand new haircut. I am certain that it is only a matter of time until we start seeing her in major editorials and ad campaigns.
  • Bruna Tenório stars in the new Ports 1961 campaign shot in India.
  • Marlon Teixeira shot the new campaign for Brazilian label Vila Romana in Santa Catarina
  • Three new boys photographed by Didio
  • The cover art for Madonna's upcoming greatest hits collection Celebration hit the web. The album and an accompanying DVD are scheduled to be released on September 29.
  • The trailer for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland looks brilliant.
  • Whitney Houston debuted her new album I Look To You at a special listening party in New York on Tuesday night. I am totally jealous of all my friends who got to go, and I hear the album is amazing.
  • André Almada, owner of nightclub The Week, has announced that the club will be moving to a new location in 2013. The new club, to be located at a property recently acquired by Mr. Almada on Marginal do Tietê, will also include a complex with a pool, a convention center, office space for rent, and three to four levels of underground parking. And since we are on the topic of The Week, the club's branch in Rio is celebrating its second year in business with a big bash this Saturday. Please email me pictures if you attend the party.
