  • Lorenzo Martone and former Elite marketing director Ryan Brown launched ARC NY last night in SoHo. ARC NY is a boutique talent PR agency just for models, and has already signed Brazilians Alessandra Ambrósio and Fernanda Motta, the host of Brazil's Next Top Model.
  • Go behind the scenes at the CFDA/ Vogue Fashion Fund Awards.
  • It looks like Isabeli Fontana got highlights.
  • Alessandra Ambrósio, Emanuela de Paula, Izabel Goulart, Caroline Trentini, Ana Beatriz Barros, Flávia de Oliveira, and Isabeli Fontana have been confirmed for this year's Victoria's Secret fashion show. Adriana Lima will not be strutting in lingerie this year because she just had a baby girl this past Sunday.
  • Rumor has it that Jesus Luz will be the new face (and body) of Brazilian underwear label Mash.
  • The controversy about Adam Lambert on the cover of the latest issue of OUT magazine.
  • A breakdown of Beyoncé's looks in the Video Phone video, which just so happens to be all about that cameo by Lady Gaga.
  • Here is the making of video of the story from the latest issue of ffw Mag! which I posted yesterday, courtesy of make-up artist Ricardo dos Anjos. (Warning: possibly nsfw)

The Cutest Moment At The VMAs Last Night

Beyoncé not only had the best performance last night at the VMAs, but she also won Best Video Of The Year and managed to save Taylor Swift's night at the same time. Now if only she had also asked Pink and Shakira on stage to discuss their little Balmain incident the night would have been truly complete.

I shared most of my thoughts about the show last night via twitter and facebook, but I am going to say that last night's VMAs were the best in a very very long time. The format changed and it worked: there were less awards handed out, and it was all about making sure all the performances were pretty amazing. I ended up watching the entire show, something I hadn't done in years.

Visit MTV.com for a list of last night's winners.

  • Miro Moreira has left Ford Brazil, and is back at Ten Model Management.
  • Reynaldo Gianecchini will not be playing gay in a mini-series as posted on Monday because of other work commitments.
  • Meet Daniel Agnesini, Mr. Gay Acre 2009.
  • Nightclub The Week in São Paulo will be celebrating its fifth year in business with a big bash on the weekend of September 5. DJs Peter Rauhofer and Juanjo Martin have already been confirmed.
  • Speedo break.
  • Paula Abdul is leaving American Idol.
  • Beyoncé and Lady Gaga each earned nine nominations for next month's MTV Video Music Awards. As much as I love Paparazzi, I am still voting for Single Ladies for Best Video of The Year.

Sweet Dream Or A Beautiful Nightmare?

I am going to go with (b) beautiful nightmare. You gotta love her for the fashion choices in this video though (not to mention the screaming in the intro).
