Alexandre Herchcovitch Teams Up With Pony

Designer Alexandre Herchcovitch teamed up with Pony to create a series of hi-tops in rabbit fur, snakeskin, and wool for his fall/ winter 2011 men's collection. I may need to get a pair of the furry ones.

Sorry, But It's All About Lea T.

I honestly couldn't care less about missing Ashton Kutcher in action last night at the Colcci show or not being invited to Christina Aguilera's press conference about her collaboration with mass retailer C&A. The only thing that really upset me about not covering the shows in São Paulo this season was the fact that I didn't get to meet Lea T. this past weekend.

Lea closed the Alexandre Herchcovitch show on Saturday night, and caused almost as much commotion while leaving the building as La Bündchen.

Insane, right? She was also in the studio yesterday with photographer Fabio Bartelt and stylist Paulo Martinez shooting ffw Mag!. I already cannot wait to see the end result.

Watch an interview with Lea at GNT. And btw, Love magazine just released yet another cover with her shot by Mert and Marcus.

The Spring/ Summer 2011 Collections In Made In Brazil Magazine #2

As I mentioned before, the second issue of Made In Brazil Magazine is different from the first one in the sense that it features several stories by different photographers, stylists, and even illustrators. I was reluctant at first to sign on a fashion story  for the second issue because I want the focus of the publication to be on the boys and not clothes, but after looking at the images styled by my friend Heleno Manoel and shot by Hugo Toni, I am glad we ended up producing a collections editorial. It turned out really fresh and sexy, which is how I see the magazine, and it opened the door to possibly producing more fashion stories on Brazilian designers in upcoming issues.

Fyi, the models featured in the story are Isaac Farisato and Dante Tozetto. You can view the entire spread at The Fashionisto or at Made In Brazil's facebook page.

Made In Brazil Magazine #2 is available at and at Livraria Cultura in São Paulo, Recife, Brasília, and Porto Alegre.

The Spring Collections In ffw Mag! (Part I)

The new issue of my favorite Brazilian fashion publication is already out on newsstands, with 42 pages of the best looks from the Brazilian spring/ summer 2011 collections, styled by Paulo Martinez and photographed by Fabio Bartelt. I scanned some of my favorite pictures from the editorial to share with those of you who do not live in Brazil or have access to the magazine. View more after the jump.
