I love that the people over at Armani Exchange decided to give us a peek of Miro Moreira's tattoo in the new ads for summer 2008 as opposed to digitally removing it.
And I also love Andre Ziehe got the new sunglasses ad.

The new Armani Exchange ad campaign for summer is probably the label's hottest one to date. It features the same two Brazilians from the spring ads, Miro Moreira and Izabel Goulart, as well as Andre Ziehe.
FYI, Andre almost did not make it to Ibiza in time for the shoot, but after seeing these images I am happy he did.

Brazilian label Redley could not have picked up a better duo to star in its fall campaign: Francisco Gasseri and Franco Amêndola were two of my favorite new boys this past season.
The campaign was shot by Vava Ribeiro, also responsible for the Osklen catalog this season. More after the jump.

The two ad campaigns are now running simultaneously, but Pepe Jeans' ads with Ashton Kutcher were released much earlier than Forum's with Evandro.

Miro All Over New York
Evandro Soldati was absent from the runways this season, but he can certainly afford to do so. His first new campaign this season is finally unveiled, and it is for Brazilian jeanswear label Forum with singer Ivete Sangalo.
I have to admit that I almost never like Forum ads, but those are stunning.

The era of Brazilian models in Tom Ford advertisements seems to be long gone: it is Baltimore native Noah Mills that scores a solo stint in the designer's latest menswear campaign.
The other current Ford campaign slot is currently occupied by Spanish Jon Kortajarena.
On more Tom Ford campaign news, Vogue reports that singer Erykah Badu has been tapped as the face of his new fragrance, the name of which has not yet been released.
I have absolutely no reason to justify posting the images from the Balenciaga spring 2008 ad campaign with Jennifer Connelly other than the fact that I love them.

The new Dior Homme campaign shot by Lagerfeld featuring Brazilian Thomaz de Oliveira is finally out.
"They look like young professional killers," joked Kaiser Karl about the campaign. I actually think they almost look like they are dead.
As much as I could never fit my thighs into anything designed by Hedi Slimane, I am starting to miss him.
David Jensen is the hottest Brazilian model around right now. I am loving the fact that the people at Energie did not get rid off his chest hair for the brand's new spring 2008 campaign.

It is not often that I wish I were 10 degrees below zero, but the freezing weather is all I can think about after looking at the Dolce & Gabbana fall/ winter 2008 show in Milan. I love all the shearlings, the blanket-like scarves, the loose oversized sweaters, and the eveningwear parade punctuated by skinny ties in the end. All and all, a perfect boho meets English country fantasy, and not a single item I would not wear. My favorite pieces were a copper fur-lined down jacket, and a croc shearling.
The cast included Brazilian models David Jensen, Ricardo Merini, Alexandre Cunha, Andre Ziehe, and Carlos Sander. Question: where were Evandro and Michael Camiloto?

I have never been a big fan of the ad campaigns for TNG (not even when they featured Mr. Gianecchini), but I have to confess that the label's new ad on the first issue of gay magazine DOM did grab my attention.
It is great to see that Brazilian labels are now investing on gay vehicles, and developing ads especially for them. Football does not even exist here, but I think the label managed to get its point across.
Raquel Zimmermann stars in the ad spot for the new Gucci By Gucci fragrance, shot by none other than David Lynch.

Actor Rodrigo Santoro and model Caroline Trentini scored the Holiday campaign for The Gap, in billboards and phone booths all over America.
I am not big on the new spring campaign from Brazilian label Iódice, but the fact alone that Alex Schultz and Barbara Berger were booked for it, makes it worth posting.
Because this week I have developed some sort of obsession with the work of Brazilian photographer Marcelo Krasilcic, here are his pictures for the spring campaign of jeanswear label Ellus, featuring none other than Ms. Chloë Sevigny.
The ads are all over the Brazilian fashion magazines now.
Jeanswear label Ellus was charged with R$ 500K in fines by the state of Santa Catarina for moral damages, because the billboards of the spring 2007 campaign were considered indecent and too racy for public display. The campaign shot by Marcelo Krasilcic featured Evandro and Letícia Birkheuer half-naked on a beach. The brand has already filed for an appeal.

FYI, I just got news that Evandro will be replaced by two other Brazilians in the spring Emporio Armani campaign.

Brazilian Alexandre Cunha opened the spring 2008 D&G show back in June, and is now on the new cruise 2008 campaign for the label, shot by Mr. Testino.

After slaughtering actress Camila Pitanga by putting her in drag wigs in this month's Vogue Brazil, Brazilian art director Giovanni Bianco (who you may know for his work on Madonna's Confessions On A Dancefloor album) gets it right with Fernanda Lima. The model-turned-actress posed in a short wig for photographer J.R. Duran with beau Rodrigo Hilbert for the Forum Jeans spring 2008 ad campaign, art directed by Mr. Bianco.

Jeanswear label Zoomp has so far come up with my favorite spring ad campaign in the country. The ads shot by Jacques Dequeker not only feature Alessandra Ambrósio (in an exclusive deal with the label), but also model Diego Querzoli, who had been absent from the pages of Brazilian magazines for a while.
