Kylie Minogue's concert in São Paulo on Saturday night gets the award for circuit party of the year. Every gay men in the state (or perhaps the country) was there, and they were all ready to hit nightclub The Week immediately after the concert. It is almost as if there should have been a shuttle between the arena and the gay club.
I love Kylie and all her tackiness, and I was really looking forward to watch her perform live. The only real problem with the concert was the fact that the stage at Credicard Hall was built only about two feet above ground level. Add that to the fact that Kylie is 5' 0¼" tall and it was impossible to see her on stage from pretty much anywhere inside the arena. She was amazing and full of energy, but having to watch most of the concert from the screens next to the stage was not what I expected.
The best part of the show was actually seeing how surprised Kylie was that the boys here knew the lyrics to all of her songs, and sang along through the entire concert. She just could not stop smiling. At the very end, when she came back for an encore, the entire arena started singing "love me, love me, love me, love me." Kylie then sang The One to please the Brazilian boys, even though you could easily tell the song was not on the program. Watch it in the clip below.
And then she also sang Come Into My World a capella. Pretty cool.

Kylie is fantastic! I saw the show in Europe and it was brilliant, and from these clips it seems like the Brazilian show was a huge success.
Although, your review seems biased.

haven't been to a kylie concert in fooooor ever, she has amazing energy on stage and does a ggreat show.

Kylie concerts are always a highlight for me. The energy, the fun, the music, the combination of classics, new material and surprising choices from her more unknow work.
As a big Madonna-fan for 25 years now I must give Kylie credits for having much better shows than M.
Keep your eyes open for the release of the X tour on december 1st on dvd!

Yes she did a great concert and the audience was also fantastic.I guess Kylie was thrilled and surprised to see all those beautiful people in the audience singing her songs. What an energetic interaction. Never seen anything like this.Not even in her concerts in the UK where she is the real Queen of pop.I Do hope she comes back.
