I'm Sticky And Sweet: Madonna In New York

I went to see Madonna live at Madison Square Garden last night, and I am still recovering from the Sticky & Sweet experience. As opposed to what I did last time around during the Confessions tour, I had not seen any footage from the concert, and even avoided looking at pictures until last night. It was totally worth it. I was fully surprised and blown away by the concert (I guess the fact that my seat was right next to the runway did help on that as well).

I was afraid that Madonna would not be able to top the Confessions tour with this one, and while I cannot say she did, I can say that she fulfilled all my expectations (and then some). The new arrangements for Vogue, La Isla Bonita, and Like A Prayer, were really amazing, and the new choreography for the songs was major. And then by the end of the show she told Sarah Palin to "get off her street" and the crowd went crazy. Madonna certainly knows her audience.

For those of you who do want a taste of the show, I made two short videos during Into The Groove and Heartbeat.

Note to Michael Kors: next time you get front row seats at Madonna, memorize a few songs before the concert. I so want to see you sing and dance.
