This month Nido Barroso becomes the second black model to ever pose for Terra's The Boy.

Nido is 21 years old and hails from Salvador. Visit The Boy for more of the spread shot by Felipe Lessa.
FYI, the first black model featured by Terra was Ramirez Allender in September of last year. Check out his pictures at:

beautiful! I can't believe that having such ethnic diversity in Brazil and pretty much all the american continent ,they have used only 2 black models in Terra's The boy, this guy is amazingly good looking.
And black skin is so beautiful, the color, the tightness and silk like testure, exotic look and proportions like tall slim yet strong!

Agree Salvador,,,,,He does look like mixed race though. Good to see something other than lily white.

He is not that attractive. I certainly wouldn't guess he's a model. Compared to the last Black guy on 'The Boy' who was absolutely beautiful & obviously model material.

It's weird because when I am in Brasil, I am always meeting black men. Not for any reason, it's just that there are black people in Brasil. I never really understood why all the models you see look like those prep school kids in Leblon. Yep, he is hot. Why so shocking that he is black?

There are hotter black guys.....

Not that attractive? Here, honey, I'll lend you my glasses! It's been a long time coming that a black man appears on Made In Brasil. How about some more? I mean, if you want I'll just walk the streets of Rio and take some photos with my cellphone camera and email them to you.

Salvador is the most African of Brasilian cities in my favorite country Brasil. I find this guy to be attractive, but there are many others who are much better looking and enticing!
I am glad that the market is finally and slowly opening up for persons of color in a land of so many hues!

After going to the complete spread of Nido, I think he's a hot guy irrespective of his beautiful color. Remember the blogmaster puts photos here that he can obtain; black Brasilians would be represented if he-- the blogmaster had access and if the guys featured were models, etc.
He can't put photos here that are unavailable. Yes, there are a lot of black and/or mixed folks in Brasil, but are there featured in the main stream media? Do they hold positions to be featured? It would be great if my queries could render affirmative answers.
Yes, gorgeous black men exit, but do they receive and/or obtain the same advantages as granted to persons of lighter hue in that nation of much racial diversity!!!
