The Beijing 2008 Olympic Games kick off on Friday, and Globo had the lovely idea of inviting a few Brazilian athletes to blog about their Olympic experience. My favorite on their list of bloggers is heavyweight judo fighter João Gabriel Schlittler. From the pictures below you can clearly see why.

The soccer team is also practicing, and even though the players have not been given a blog, am sure pictures of them will not be scarce. These are my favorite shots from yesterday in Shenyang. Love the team spirit.
And as if that wasn't good enough, Nova magazine shot three Olympians shirtless for its latest issue.
It is already shaping up to be one hot Olympic year.
