
The first candidates to the 2008 Mr. Gay Brazil title have been selected: 23 year old Patrick Scalco will represent Belo Horizonte, and 28 year old Jueves Tiedt will represent Blumenau at the national finals which take place in São Paulo in September.
Brazil and the US signed a bilateral agreement which will allow for 50% more flights between the two countries, and for more companies to operate the routes. Thanks to the new agreement, 154 weekly flights will be allowed between Brazil and the US, as opposed to the current 105 flights. Implementation will be complete by 2010.
