According to the magazine, the couple is a sign that times are changing on national TV, and that people are becoming more accepting of gay characters on soap operas. I am only agreeing with that statement once I see gay characters acting like regular gay men, and not just characters added to the story line for the sake of making it more politically correct. Note to screenwriters: watch Brothers & Sisters asap.
