More Fashion Rio
While the shows were going on at Marina da Glória, Naomi Campbell was given the title of ambassador of Rio by mayor César Maia. I guess it makes sense based on the violence prevalent in the city. Between me and you, I heard she had a fight with a photographer at a party last week (which the media in Brazil did not dare to cover, but Daily News did today).
The sky was gray in Rio for most of the time, and so was every single collection on display.

Jalouse president Marie Jose Jalou is definitely someone I want to hang out with (she finished the night at Le Boy last Wednesday). Erika Palomino interviewed her.
Juliana Jabour (with whom I shared a drunk conversation late Thursday night at 00) made another strong attempt at becoming Brazil's answer to DVF with her parade of viscose dresses. It started just right with Solange and Daiane on winter whites, but the collection fell flat right after look #5.
Redley and Reserva turned out the best options for the boys come winter in Rio.
Sushi man-turned-model Raphael Sander is who I decided to place my bets on.

Gisele caused a frenzy on the runway, and partied away after the Colcci show on Friday night.
At the exact same time Gisele was strutting her stuff, the prostitutes behind Daspu showed their fall collection.
Thanks to TAM Airlines, it took me about 10 hours and two extra stops to complete the 1 hour and 45 minutes trip back to Porto Alegre. The situation at Brazilian airports has gotten completely out of control in terms of delays and cancelled flights. I am avoiding TAM at any expense when I fly to São Paulo today.

I find the clothes that these guys sport down the runway to be rather "cute" for them.
In 2005 while I was in Sao Paulo, my eighteen year old tour guide at the time wore the sexiest of pants; he stated that a designer had given them to him.
I'm wondering if Danilo has become a full time model by now!
These clothes remind me of his outfit.

good luck with TAM. i got my bag today, after more than 35 days without it. between delta & TAM, no one will admit WHICH airline lost my bag in between the additional stops & madness that was inflicted on me over christmas week.

heyy
your blog's just awesome! congrats =)
im awfully sorry about the problem with your flight...
to be honest, TAM Airlines is the best choice to fly, especially in brazil.
ALL brazilian airlines, currently, are facing some problems, but they are, in fact, government's fault. since the accident with 1907 flight of Gol Airlines brazilian aviation has changed a lot. flight delays, cancellations have been really frequent, not only when flying with TAM, but also with Gol, Varig, ...
